How we generate Agents of TransformationOur programmes aim to redress the imbalance in the standardised MBA where one-sided ‘Western’ knowledge and business practices dominate.
Our programmes are rooted in the Four Worlds of our Globe (Four World Model) rather than in one world. The transformative journey in our programmes always starts with local identity, but aiming to connect with and contribute to global integrity. 'Local', as such, can either apply geographically (e.g. West or South), or sectorally (e.g. Business/Economy or Civic Sector/Culture). 'Integrity' then invariably involves a process of Centering. The programmes are based on the belief that sustainable transformation (of self, organisation, society) needs to be rooted in the natural and cultural local context, and in the transformative forces within nature and culture.
Our programmes have been tried and tested in Jordan, UK and South Africa.
Programmes are run by National Partner Organisations. There is, however, one exception: The Global Institute envisages a local/global programme, that brings participants within a two year masters programme to at least six different locations all over the world, always hosted by one of the national institutes (in cooperation with a national “role model”, giving participants authentic experience of highly transformed organisations).
