Transformational Impact generated through Projects from our Programmes
Our programmes combine theories, cases, exercises and action, resulting in real life transformative effects on the level of the self, the organisation and the society. We achieve these transformative effects with projects, rooted in the current situation of the participant. The starting point of a project is the specific context of each participant (grounding). Projects arise out of this context and address real issues on the level of the self, the organisation and the society of the participant (emerging). As a next step the participants looks for concepts and theories that enable them to structure and frame their projects (navigation). In the penultimate phase the participants, co-operatively with others in their organisation and community, move towards action and implement transformation (effecting). Ultimately each participating individual, organisation and indeed society completes their journey by integrating their being, becoming, knowing and doing.

Synopsis: This project is the first of three projects where I engage myself as an agent of transformation in my role of coordinator of the Life Skills Programme (LSP) at CIDA City Campus, Johannesburg. The project is structured around a four-phase process of transformation of Grounding (grounding the project in my past stories), Emergence (considering the major patterns and themes in my lifeworld at present); Navigation (selecting and planning for transformation of my lifeworld); and Effect (doing it). | |
