Integral Project Management (IPM) Manual launched at Heliopolis University in Egypt

Developed by Trans4m Junior Fellow Annina Hunziker, together with Maximilian Abouleish and a research team, the IPM Manual was officially launched at Heliopolis University for Sustainable Development in Egypt. The launch of this long-awaited manual was attended by Helmy Abouleish (CEO of SEKEM Holding), Dr. Kadria Abdel-Motaal (Head of the Research Department) with her team and Dr. Pakinaz (Dean of the Business Faculty) with her staff.

The presentation covered the theoretical approach, first experiences during its implementation and a discussion about potential future projects to apply Integral Project Management at Heliopolis University for Sustainable Development, as well as in the Sekem Group. Both, Sekem Group and Heliopolis University are integral partner organisations of Trans4m.

The “Integral Project Management” Manual is the outcome of a six months lasting Trans4m Junior Fellowship at Heliopolis University conducted by Annina Hunziker. Together with Maximilian Abouleish and a research team, an integral approach to project management was developed with the objective  to effectively and holistically work on projects and to significantly increase the level of project ownership, team responsibility and complementarity of diverse project skills on projects .

The Manual describes the approach with its three layers including IPM roles that comprise a team, a guideline for a process and a tool to visualize the project’s impact.

Further information will soon be shared on a specific Integral Project Management page on this website.
