Jean Parker Delivers Inspiring Speech on Trans4m-Da Vinci PhD Program

4 December 2016: As a prelude to this year’s PhD Graduation Ceremony, Trans4m Senior Fellow Jean Parker was invited to deliver a keynote at the Da Vinci President`s Dinner in Johannesburg, during which she highlighted the uniqueness of the Trans4m Da Vinci PhD Program to effect large scale transformation.

Upon invitation of Prof. Edward Kieswetter, the president of the Da Vinci Institute, South Africa, Dr. Jean Parker was invited to share her experiences she made within the Trans4m Da Vinci PhD Program, as well as to reflect on the unique “Mode 2 University” approach that serves as the foundation for this program.

In her speech, Jean also takes the audience into her own fascinating research-to-innovation on Community Based Learning for Emergency Preparedness, that took place in India’s state of Uttarakhand, at the foothills of the Himalayas.

While on stage, she also invited her Co-Senior Fellows Dr. Father Anselm Adodo from Nigeria and Dr. Andrew Nyambayo from Zimbabwe to add their reflections.
