Vimochana and Trans4m discuss Potential of Integral University for India

[…]Upon invitation of Dr. Corinne Kumar, founder of Vimochana, and Donna Fernandes, long-standing member of Vimochana’s leadership team, Trans4m was invited into the headquarters of Vimochana for a workshop to share its perspective of an Integral University and its relevance for India. Trans4m’s co-founder Alexander Schieffer shared the importance for universities to go beyond conventional individualised education, and become integral agencies for societal renewal, including transformative education, innovation-driven research, community activation and consciousness awakening.
Subsequently Trans4m was invited by Vimochana to design a longer workshop for Vimochana’s Open University, engaging participants in co-creating an Integral University perspective for India. Of particular relevance emerged a meaningful reconnection of such a new university perspective to India’s own knowledge grounds.
