Trans4m
4 SEASONS NEWSLETTER

Dear Trans4mers, Friends and Colleagues of Trans4m !

2017 started for Trans4m with a rich and intensive first quarter.

In January, the 3rd International Conference for an “Integral Green Slovenia for a Better World” took place in Ljubljana, hosted by the European Commission Representation to Slovenia. The Integral Green Slovenia model was widely shared through a large number of Slovenian practice cases across all sectors of society – and “Trans4mers” from UK, Sweden, Nigeria, South Africa and Jordan joined the conference to learn from and enrich the Slovenian integral role model and to witness its growing relevance for Europe and beyond.

In these first three months of the year, Trans4m made huge steps in evolving our PhD program further into a Process for Holistic Development (PHD) – with modules in Naklo, Slovenia and in Johannesburg, South Africa on the one hand, and with the launch of the second of four books of the CARE series by Trans4m Co-Founder Ronnie Lessem on the other hand. The PHD process is designed to strengthen the transformative impact of the PhD program and to support participants in bringing their respective “research-to-innovations” to full transformative blossom, through personal and collective “embodiment”.

Our advancements resulted, among others, in an invitation to Trans4m by the University of Johannesburg (UJ) to share our PHD process during a workshop, thereby supporting UJ in its own attempts to become more relevant for the burning socio-economic issues of South Africa and Africa.

Overall, Trans4m is growing ever more into a “transformative field” of co-creating individuals and institutions, with our integral transformation agents working ever closer together to increase collective impact, and to establish locally grounded integral centers.

We also just began a new class of our course on Integral Development – now already in its 6th year – at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland – with four of our integral partner organizations from Brazil, Sri Lanka, Egypt and Nigeria actively participating. We shall inform you soon about the transformative contributions of the St. Gallen students to our partner organizations.

Finally, two expressions of gratitude and celebration:

End of February, Ronnie successfully underwent open-heart surgery and is already on the “highway to recovery”. He is grateful to all the well-wishes, all the support and “CARE” from our community. Thank you all!

And our Trans4m Global Wisdom Council member Dr. Ibrahim Abouleish, founder of Sekem in Egypt, is celebrating his 80th birthday tomorrow. He and Sekem have not only inspired the world with their holistic approach, Ibrahim has also been an active co-architect and role model of our Integral Worlds approach over many many years. Thank you Ibrahim, and congratulations! Trans4m Junior Fellow Anthony Dharan is currently for six months with Sekem, and will congratulate Ibrahim on all our behalf.

Please visit our website for regular updates on Trans4m’s “integral innovations”. Let us know your comments and thoughts and please feel free to share this newsletter with your own friends and colleagues.

With kindest wishes and TRANS4Mative greetings !

Alexander & Ronnie
