Satish Kumar, Founder of Schumacher College, visits Trans4m
In March 2015 the founder of the world renowned and UK based Schumacher College, a global icon for sustainable development and community renewal, Satish Kumar, visited Trans4m in our “Home for Humanity” in Hotonnes, France. […] Satish Kumar also edits since over five decades Resurgence (as well as, more recently, The Ecologist), making him the longest serving editor-in-chief in the UK. During his visit we explored the importance for an Integral Development approach for education on sustainable development. Furthermore, Satish Kumar, Rama Mani and Alexander Schieffer also spoke to Dr. Ibrahim Abouleish, Founder of Egypt’s Sekem Group, a partner organisation of Trans4m – exploring cooperation between all three organisations.
