From Supervision to Co-Creation: Video Interview of Alexander Schieffer by University of Johannesburg
10 January 2018: The University of Johannesburg, South Africa, released a video interview in which Alexander Schieffer explains Trans4m’s evolution from Supervision to Co-Creation
With a view to evolving its own pedagogical approach to supervising PhD and Masters Research, the Postgraduate School of the University of Johannesburg invited Trans4m Co-Founder Alexander Schieffer to share Trans4m’s innovative approach to supervision. The interview was guided by Dr. Pia Lamberti, Head of Research Capacity Building of the Postgraduate School (Division: Research and Innovation) of UJ. In the interview, Schieffer explains how Trans4m, in particular through its own PhD Program on Integral Development, has evolved the role of a conventional supervisor into that of a co-creator of knowledge and social innovation.
