Christophe Haesler’s research was submitted under the title of: “AUTHENTICITY IN EDUCATION: A Critical Analysis and Evolution of Trans4m’s Transformative Course “Becoming an Agent of Transformation: Towards Integrated Self Development” as an Integral Curriculum for Young Adults seeking to find their Authentic Voice and contribute to an Authentic Culture in Swiss Society”
His excellent thesis provided a critical analysis of the state of education, in particular tertiary education, in Switzerland. At the heart of Christophe Haesler’s innovation was the development of an Integral Authenticity-in-Education Model – serving to bring about educational formats that foster authenticity, on an individual and cultural level.
This approach was concretely compared and tested with two of TRANS4M’s transformative educational courses at Switzerland’s University of St. Gallen: On Becoming an Agent of Transformation (Integrated Self Development) and Integral Development: Theory and Practice of Future Oriented Development Practice.
His action research contributed significantly to the further evolution of both courses. Furthermore, it provided a framework to critically reflect on the level of authenticity in university courses in general.
