Calling: Restoring the Role and Purpose of Finance in Society
The burning issue underlying this research-to-innovation is the power complexes that have distorted the role and purpose of Finance in society to such a degree that we need to find new solutions to our current world issues that Finance are possibly the main cause of.
Innovation Ecosystem: Building a local-global Support System
After initial research, the team is currently building up the new Centre for Integral Finance (CIF) to become the focal point and act as a forum for integral development in finance. The center is currently working on its first project, Integral Accounting (IA) that will become foundational to how the Integral Worlds approach is employed to balance and see new perspectives.
The eco-system is formed around its current 5 members with the specific intention to participate on the IA project. CIF has through its members an expanded eco-system that draws on experience and expertise in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Organisational Psychology, and Philosophy in Ethics etc. to complement each other and also cover and combine the different aspects of the Integral Worlds.
There is no shortage for CIF to engage with different issues facing Finance today. At the moment we are exploring different theories and concept, to build up emancipatory knowledge underlying integral alternatives in finance.

In addition, CIF has begun working with institutions who are looking for an alternative to conventional funding and market only based interest payments using an integral approach where CIF has been advising on possible solutions.
